Randy Pitchford of Gearbox stated at the Penny Arcade Expo that the company, aside from finishing Duke Nukem Forever after its long, troubled development by other studios, intends to make a Duke game of its own. Here's a quote:

"And then soon… I know that you guys figured out that, when Gearbox acquired the franchise, we didn't do it just to make sure we could all play Duke Forever, but because we wanted to make our own Duke game. Soon, we'll talk about that, but not today. [the crowd cheers]"

What do you think? Duke Nukem Fover has gathered rather mixed opinions. Will a new Duke game made from scratch by the makers of Borderlands be better?
