Gearbox wants to make its own Duke game
Randy Pitchford of Gearbox stated at the Penny Arcade Expo that the company, aside from finishing Duke Nukem Forever after its long, troubled development by other studios, intends to make a Duke game of its own. Here's a quote:
- "And then soon… I know that you guys figured out that, when Gearbox acquired the franchise, we didn't do it just to make sure we could all play Duke Forever, but because we wanted to make our own Duke game. Soon, we'll talk about that, but not today. [the crowd cheers]"

Duke Nukem Forever launch trailer
Duke Nukem Forever has a launch trailer, showing Duke Nukem being his usual alien-ass-kicking self. The game is to be released on Friday, June 10 internationally and on Tuesday, June 14 in North America for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. You can watch it below:

Duke Nukem Forever gone gold
After 15 years of development, it looks like Duke Nukem Forever is now officially not vaporware anymore, as we've just received this press release confirming that the game has now gone gold. The game is to be released on June 10 internationally and on June 14 in North America for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Did you bet on the Duke?
After being handled by as many as four development studios (starting originally with Duke Nukem series creators 3D Realms), the final version of the game was made by Gearbox Software, the developers of Borderlands.
