Shaft
Shaft is a multiplayer-only map in Duke Nukem 64. The map is built around a tall shaft at the center of what appears to be either a spaceship or extraterrestrial military base.
This level contains a secret exit to Noctis Labyrinthus, a secret multiplayer-only level. The secret exit can be reached by activating all the switches hidden throughout the map.
Notably, this level contains an meteorite near the fire pit. If a player jumps onto this meteorite, the player will explode. It is unclear whether this was a developer oversight or whether this was a deliberate feature, intended to make the meteorite seem "extremely hot."
