Installation instructions

The available internet download is a 32-bit installer wrapped in a 16-bit self-extracting archive. This is problematic for modern systems, as the 32-bit installers fails in Windows 3.1 in DOSBox, while the 16-bit self-extractor is unusable in 64-bit copies of Windows. Thus, installation requires the following process:

1. Extract agestime.exe from the downloaded RAR file
2. Rather than double-clicking the EXE, open it with WinRAR or 7Zip to view the files inside
3. Extract all of the files
4. Launch setup.exe
5. Specify a destination directory for installation. This is supposed to be the Duke Nukem 3D installation directory, but the installer doesn't verify this.
6. Copy the files from the destination directory into the Duke Nukem 3D directory used by DOSBox, or the directory of your Windows Duke 3D program
7. Run agesdos.exe to launch Mystique: Ages in Time in DOSBox, or use a Windows version to open ages.con and ages.grp
8. The Programs and Features control panel (Add/Remove Programs in Windows XP) can be used to remove the Start Menu shortcuts created by the installer.
