Duke Nukem Wiki
This page refers to the Duke Nukem 64 weapon. For other uses, see here.

The Missile Launcher is a weapon exclusive to Duke Nukem 64. It replaces the Devastator from Duke Nukem 3D.

Since the RPG was replaced by the Grenade Launcher, the Missile Launcher now fills a similar niche as the RPG. However, it has a noticeably slower rate of fire, firing approximately one rocket every second. It carries up to 50 rockets, the same ammo capacity as the RPG, and each ammo container adds 5 missiles.

Notably, the Missile Launcher also has the ability to launch heat-seeking missiles, dealing the same damage as the standard missiles. These are particularly advantageous when fighting highly mobile enemies such as the RPV or Sentry Drone, which will usually dodge incoming fire. The maximum ammo capacity for heat-seeking missiles is 25, half that of the standard missiles.
