The Mandroid is an enemy in LameDuke.


In-game, the Mandroid is a human male-shaped robot that will just stare at the player. He cannot be harmed nor can he harm the player. His code in the Game.CON file is just enough for him to exist as a character.

However, graphics in the game’s files show the Mandroid holding a rocket launcher, firing it and walking around. It’s possible that the Mandroid was a recent addition to the game when LameDuke was made.

Strangely, the Mandroid will actually move around and attack the player in E1L8, but his coding appears to be glitchy, as he seems to run in bursts if the player is away from him.

Combat AnalysisEdit

Since this enemy has no AI nor can he be harmed in almost all of the levels it appears in, there is no analysis for it.


There doesn’t seem to be any enemy in the final game that is a good match for the Mandroid.
