The Large Medkit is an item in Duke Nukem 3D.
Description
The Large Medkit gives the player 30 points of health when picked up. Large Medkits will heal the player up to 100 health.
Large Medkits are surprisingly common throughout the game. In fact, they’re the most commonly encountered health item throughout the game.
Tips and Tricks
- If the player has 85 or more health, picking up a large Medkit is a waste. Instead, they should wait until they’re much closer to 70 or lower health in order to maximize the Large Medkit’s potential.
LameDuke
In LameDuke, a six-pack of Coca-Cola replaces the Medkit. It is otherwise the same as the final’s Large Medkit, but blows up when shot, much like the Coca-Cola seen in Duke Nukem 1 and II. In fact, a six pack appears as one of the most powerful healing items in Duke Nukem II, which LameDuke draws a lot of inspiration from.
