Duke!ZONE is a shovelware expansion pack released in 1996 by WizardWorks for Duke Nukem 3D. Its title may be stylized as Duke!ZONE 500 in order to differentiate it from Duke!ZONE 150, which was subsequently released as a condensed version of Duke!ZONE.
The expansion pack contains 500 usermaps that were collected from the Internet and BBSes, editing utilities (Front-Ends, grp utilities, Con-Edit), .CON replacements, and a Build tutorial. All of the included materials are available for free online. Most of the maps have been criticized for their poor quality, while the utilities and Build tutorial are now obsolete and outdated. WizardWorks later included Duke!ZONE in the follow up expansion pack, Duke!ZONE II, in 1997, although it was not included in the Kill-A-Ton Collection compilation.
