Armor is an item in Duke Nukem 3D.
Description
Armor gives the player 100 armor points when picked up. In addition, it makes it so that each enemy attack that hits the player is reduced from anywhere between 20% to 50%. The amount that is reduced is instead transferred to the player’s armor points.
A variation of Armor called Used Armor exists. It is dropped by dead Pig Cops. It gives the player anywhere from 50 to 75 armor points when picked up.
Armor is a very common item throughout the game. Because of how useful and common it is, the player should always be on the lookout for it.
