The AT Laser is a futuristic-looking weapon that fires a burst of three lasers when the fire key is pressed. It can be held down to be continuously fired. It has a fairly high rate of fire, but there is a noticeable break between the bursts. It is also the first real weapon the player receives.
It is a player-usable version of the weapon fired by the Assault Trooper.
